U3APP is very active in continuing to add to the course program.  The following new courses and one-off events have been added for Term 4.  Major course changes are also listed below.  Items in red are new since the last newsletter.

Note that some future-dated courses and events are not yet open for bookings.  Watch our newsletter for booking opening dates.

CHANGED COURSES and EVENTS 

Existing enrolments and waitlists remain as is for the following course and event changes.

  • 1P07 The Self and Others: course resumes in term 4
  • 1B13 National Theatre Live: extra showings on Sundays added for 25 October,  8 November and 29 November
  • 1E12 Yoga Yin and Yang – Intermediate: no class on 5 October
  • 2L04 Conversational German Intermediate: course will finish on 17 November
  • 3A09 Collage Club: course will continue to year-end
  • 3L17 French Level B1 – Low-Intermediate: on 14 Oct & 11 Nov classes will be held at Port Melbourne Comm Centre 219 Esplanade East, Port Melbourn
  • 3L19 French for Beginners (year 2): no classes on 21 and 28 October
  • 3M13 Chansons Françaises Populaires: course will resume in term 4
  • 3Q19 Let’s Talk Tarot: no class on 7 October
  • 4B15 Movie Milestones: course code changed to 5B15 as course moved to Friday afternoon in Hall at MKC, from 1:15 to 4pm
  • 4E19 Yoga for Self-Healing: classes will be held only on 22 October and 19 November
  • 4L12 French for Beginners (year 1): no classes on 22 and 29 October
  • 4M03 Recorder Consort: replaced by 4M06 Recorder Ensemble, with new tutor, different times and different location
  • 5B15 Movie Milestones: course code changed from 4B15 as course moved to Friday afternoon in Hall at MKC, from 1:15 to 4pm
  • 5B15 Movie Milestones: no class/film on 16 October
  • 5H03 Healing Ourselves and our Planet – Friday: no class on 6 November
  • 5L05 Venez bavarder en français!: start time changed to 1.45 to 2.45; extra class listed for 9 October

No classes on Melbourne Cup Day, 3 November, for Tuesday courses.

How to Enrol

On-line: after bookings have opened

On-line enrolments are preferred as this significantly reduces the amount of back-office work for our volunteers.

  • Login to the U3APP.org.au website.
  • Go to the Courses & Enrolling page.
  • Scroll down to find the course that you are interested in.
  • Does the course have spaces available?
    • Click on the course name to go to the booking page.
    • Click on “Book for this course or event”.
    • You will receive a confirmation email.  Please check your Junk/Spam folders as these automatically-generated emails often finish up there.
  • OR is the course shown as FULL?
    • Click on WAITLIST.

Paper Enrolment Form: before bookings open for First Semester

  • Obtain a paper Enrolment Form either from the Office or by printing an online copy available here.
  • Complete the paper Enrolment Form and submit it to the Office.

The start date for acceptance of paper Enrolment Forms for first semester is published on the U3APP website and in the e-Bulletin. Enrolment Forms received before this date are treated as though they had been received on the start date (ie there is no advantage to be gained by submitting early). On the start date and thereafter, paper Enrolment Forms are numbered in order of receipt.  Paper Enrolment forms are processed by U3APP volunteers on the same day as on-line bookings.

If your enrolment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please check your Junk/Spam folders as these automatically-generated emails often finish up there.

If your enrolment is unsuccessful,  you will receive an email telling you that you have been waitlisted.
