U3APP has a full program of courses ranging from Art to Yoga. There are also a number of one-off events, some members only, some open to the general public.
There are two semesters each year, with a mid-semester break in each, as well as a break between the semesters. Some courses continue throughout the year, others are shorter courses that last from a few weeks to a full semester.
To see the complete program, scroll down on this page. (During the semester this is our current program. In the last two weeks of the semester it is the program for the following semester.) Or click here to download a printer-friendly Course Guide. Courses can be viewed by the day of the week on which the classes for that course are held, or by category of course, in both the on-line and print version.
Enrolment for First Semester takes place at the end of the preceding year, in December.
Enrolment for Second Semester takes place in July during the break between semesters.
You can enrol on-line in courses on or after a specified date and time for each semester. The date and time that enrolments open is shown in red above the list. Courses then remain open for on-line enrolment, until they fill.
To enrol on-line, or to ask to be put on a Wait List
- First check that you are logged in. If you are your name appears in the Member Login area on the right. If you are not, the "LOG IN" button is shown - click on it to go to the login page.
- If the course still has spaces available, click on the course name to go to the booking page and enrol.
- If the course is shown as FULL, click on the word WAITLIST beside that course. This will generate an email request* to be put on the Wait List for the course. The email subject line contains the name of the course, your name and membership status. IMPORTANT - you must press SEND.
*If clicking on WAITLIST doesn't generate an email, please click here to learn why and how to fix it.
At the beginning of each semester, you can also enrol using an enrolment form if you do not want to use the on-line facility. However we urge you to try it, as it reduces the load for our enrolment team if more people enrol on-line.
For more details of our Enrolment Procedures and Policies, please click here.
Course Program by Day of Week
(E) Exercise courses and (L) Language courses are limited to 2 courses per member. (FM) Full membership is required for some of our very popular courses, and these courses are not available for associate members.
Enrolments for 2018 courses opened in December 2017. If you are disappointed to find that a course you would like to join is already full, we urge you to click on the Waitlist button and waitlist yourself. This helps us know what the demand is for our courses, and whether we need to try to find more tutors for a particular subject.
