Forget any bad memories you had of poetry at school. It’s just about putting words together. Join me in the Poetry Lab. It’s a safe place to play, experiment and explore your own creative voice.We’ll touch on the various ways of approaching poetry and find your own way of expressing your thoughts, feelings and stories.If you’re an old-hand or never written a piece before, we’ll all continue to learn together. There’s no correct way. Just bring a pen and a passion to write and join me on an on-going creative journey.
REQUIREMENTS: Writing materials.
TUTOR: Graeme has released several poetry collections and has featured in a range of publications. He has written children’s books and play scripts, some of which have achieved successful productions. He has worked as a journalist in-print and online. At Monash, he has studied English literature and has further trained in professional writing. He has conducted writing workshops including classes at U3A, enjoying great responses.
