A soft, fluid class in the tradition of T Krishnamacharya, using Body (Asana), Breath (Pranayama) and Mind (Reflection), catering to individual needs. This class can improve overall wellbeing, increase strength and flexibility (using key yoga postures) and calm the mind. Suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners and those returning to yoga. It is also ideal for those recovering from injury or trauma and/or have chronic conditions. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged as each class builds on the previous.
REQUIREMENTS: Bring your own yoga mat, cushions, bolsters, blankets. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. No food 1 hour prior to class.
TUTOR: Lesley has been a Yoga Practitioner for 20 years, is a fully qualified Yoga Teacher in the T Krishnamacharya tradition and has also been a locum and regular teacher at U3APP since 2016. Lesley has a background as a health professional (spanning four decades) specialising as a clinical educator and researcher, being involved in education and training for 30 years.
