A soft, fluid class in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya, using Body (Asana), Breath (Pranayama) and Mind (Reflection), catering to individual needs. This class can improve overall wellbeing, increase strength and flexibility (using key yoga postures) and calm the mind. Suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners and those returning to yoga, it is also ideal for those recovering from injury/trauma and chronic conditions.
NOTE: Regular attendance is strongly encouraged as each class builds on the previous classes.
Please bring your own yoga mat and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
TUTOR: Lesley has been a Yoga practitioner for 20 years and is a fully qualified Yoga teacher in the T. Krishnamacharya tradition. She currently teaches at Agama Yoga Centre (Middle Park) and has also been a locum and regular teacher at U3APP since 2016. Lesley has a background as a health professional (spanning four decades) specialising as a clinical educator and researcher, being involved in education and training for 30 years.
