Class time: 11:30-12:30
A gentle yoga class, which will give people the option of yoga from a chair or on the floor.
NOTE: This class is suitable for seniors who want a less vigorous style of yoga or who have health challenges, such as arthritis, hypertension etc.
No downward dog postures.
REQUIREMENTS: Students to provide their own yoga mat.
TUTOR: Julie completed her yoga training at Power Living, and is also qualified in Yin Yoga.
She has recently completed a Yoga For Seniors course at Duke University (in North Carolina, USA) which dealt with the medical issues most common for over 65s and the learning for yoga practice.
