Class time: 11:30-12:30
A gentle yoga class, which will give people the option of simple movements from a chair, on the floor, and standing. This class is suitable for people who want to maintain their range of motion. We also work on balance.
NOTE: This is a class for seniors who want a less vigorous yoga or have health challenges.
REQUIREMENTS: Students to provide their own yoga mat, chair, yoga block or cushion, water.
TUTOR: Julie completed her yoga training at Power Living, and is also qualified in Yin Yoga.
She has recently completed a Yoga For Seniors course at Duke University (in North Carolina, USA) which dealt with the medical issues most common for over 65s and the learning for yoga practice.
