Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas and aim to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. The long-held, deeply restful postures of Yin Yoga provide a welcome contrast to the more dynamic Yang yoga practices. Yin is a practice that encourages people to slow down – immersing themselves in stillness. Beginners welcome.
NOTE: Please bring your own yoga mat and water, particularly in hot weather. If you have any injuries you must have advice from a doctor about participation.
TUTOR: Julie completed her Yoga teacher training at Power Living. She has practised yoga for over 20 years.
