Class time: 10:00-11:00
A Hatha yoga class, which will work on strength, flexibility, balance and agility.
The class is aimed at healthy seniors who have done yoga before or have a regular exercise routine. It is a dynamic class and requires people to have good mobility. It is suitable for people with osteoporosis, but is not suitable for severe osteoarthritis.
REQUIREMENTS: Students to provide their own yoga mat.
TUTOR: Julie completed her yoga training at Power Living, and is also qualified in Yin Yoga.
She has recently completed a Yoga For Seniors course at Duke University (in North Carolina, USA) which dealt with the medical issues most common for over 65s and the learning for yoga practice.
