This course covers the use of HBOT for many medical conditions. It explains what is involved in providing more oxygen to the whole body for a list of conditions advised by the international HBOT associations.
HBOT is a medical treatment which enhances the body’s natural healing process by inhaling up to 100% oxygen in a Hyperbaric Chamber. It is a simple, non-invasive and painless treatment.
It has long been known that healing many areas of the body cannot take place without appropriate oxygen levels in any of the body organs and tissues. HBOT provides this extra oxygen with minimal side effects.
HBOT improves the patient’s quality of life in many indications when standard medicine is not effective. There are two types of hyperbaric chambers: mono-place, for a single patient, and multi-place for several people at one time.
TUTOR: Stuart has been a Hyperbaric Technical Specialist since 1993, treating patients, training operational staff and servicing equipment. He was trained by international medical specialists. Sharing HBOT is now his passion.
This is a repeat of 1K05 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy held on 2 Oct 2023.
