We will address questions such as how we constitute a “self”, the concept of “personhood” and how we could and do interact with other selves – first , second and third person perspectives. To accomplish this task, we will look to the ancient Greek philosophers, empiricist thinkers, the rationalists as well as the work of philosophers currently engaged in these inquiries.
TUTOR: Elvira has taught Philosophy at the University of Melbourne and offered a course in Epistemology in previous years
This course will only run in terms 1, 2 and 4
