TUTORS: Hannah Len, Linda Condon

Hannah does not have formal qualifications in climate science and is not a scientist. However, she would like to provide a forum for education and discussion around this very serious topic. As a result of running this class in 2021, the class members decided to keep the discussion going by forming a group calling themselves Climate Champions.

Linda established the National Centre for Sustainability (NCS) at Swinburne University in Melbourne in 2001. The NCS was one of the forerunners in promoting and supporting sustainability initiatives in industry, government and communities. She also established the International Green Skills Network through funding from the Gillard Labor government. This network which involved the USA, China and Australia was developed to stimulate and assist the development of green skills in industry. Since then, she has been actively involved in community groups including PECAN (Port Phillip Emergency Climate Action Network) which works with the City of Port Philip to encourage sustainable practices. She is also an artist: www.linda-arts.me
