Other information

This very popular course is a weekly documentary series on all aspects of fashion.  For those with an enthusiasm for fashion, art and people these documentaries remind us that dressing, and indeed life, is nothing but an experiment.  The presentations tell a story about creativity, design and inspiration, showcasing past and present fashion styles, fashion designers, fashion photographers, fashion editors and magazines, fashion exhibitions and parades and look to the future of eco/sustainable fashion and the effects fashion has on the environment and consumerism.  A short discussion follows each week.

NOTE: Doors will open at 10.00 am for attendees to have a cuppa and catchup (optional) prior to watching the documentary.

TUTOR: : Sue is a Melbourne based photographer whose career spanned over 40 years working mainly in fashion and advertising. She is currently the website creative director and social media admin for a global organisation and has been running iPhone Photography courses at U3A since 2018.

Paper Enrolment Form: before bookings open for First Semester

  • Obtain a paper Enrolment Form either from the Office or by printing an online copy available here.

The start date for acceptance of paper Enrolment Forms for first semester is published on the U3APP website and in the e-Bulletin. Enrolment Forms received before this date are treated as though they had been received on the start date (ie there is no advantage to be gained by submitting early). On the start date and thereafter, paper Enrolment Forms are numbered in order of receipt.  Paper Enrolment forms are processed by U3APP volunteers on the same day as on-line bookings.
