FeldYoga is a Feldenkrais Method approach to Classical Yoga.
This course facilitates the experience of self-image awareness. The Feldenkrais sessions set the intention of getting-to-know-yourself, through a neuroplasticity process. This creates the foundation to explore Yoga in a variety of aspects with ease and spontaneity; postures (asana), breath (pranayama), relaxation (pratyahara) and concentration (dhyana).
REQUIREMENTS: No experience required. Beginners and non beginners are all welcome. Students should be able to lay down on the floor and come back to standing.
Please bring a thick blanket or a thick and large yoga mat.
TUTOR: Anastasia has a Master of Teaching from Melbourne University, and has taught Yoga since 1992. She undertook extensive training in India with Dr Swami Gitananda Giri, and a number of other Yoga schools. Anastasia has completed the four-year-training as Feldenkrais Practitioner and she is now integrating the Awareness Through Movement approach to her teaching, making Yoga available for all abilities.
