Other information
Raised total cholesterol levels and, in particular, LDL, the “bad” cholesterol, have been considered guilty of causing heart attacks, the most common fatal disease world-wide since the 1950s. Yet LDL has been around for well in excess of 300 million years and heart attacks only appeared in the 20th century. Is it possible that we’ve arrested the wrong suspect? REQUIREMENTS: An enquiring mind
TUTOR: In 2014, having retired after forty years as a GP, John commenced a comprehensive in-depth study of nutrition, changed his diet, lost 24 kilos and now enjoys sharing his new understanding of this ever-evolving and fascinating subject.
