Changing your lifestyle isn’t easy, especially on your own. The Life! Program gives you the education and support needed to make and maintain positive changes and to adopt healthy behaviours and a more active lifestyle. This approach has been shown to be more effective than taking medication and has a long-term positive effect on your health.
This course is run by expert professionals, including a physiotherapist and dietitian. Each week we break down the common misconceptions around a healthy diet, we teach you the key principles for good nutrition, how to effectively and easily exercise, and strategies for managing stress. You are also provided with an evidence-based participant resource book jam-packed with practical information.
People who have completed our program have managed to lose weight, drop centimetres around their waist, gain more energy and feel more satisfied with their health, as well as reduce their risk for developing diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
The program is funded by the Victorian Government which is committed to helping create a healthier and happier Victorian community.
