For centuries people have used journals for reflection and self-development, to capture life’s highlights and to work through problems. This course welcomes everyone – experienced journal-keepers, those considering the practice for the first time, creative writers interested in trying a new form and the simply curious. We will explore the potential benefits of journal-keeping, look at a wide range of journal types and styles, be inspired by famous journal-keepers and encourage each other to get started or to enrich our journaling practice.
REQUIREMENTS: Notebook and pen.
TUTOR: Jill is a published children’s author, amateur playwright/actor and an enthusiastic journal-keeper for over 50 years. Pre-retirement she was involved, throughout her career, in designing and delivering corporate training.
