Continuing from 2020:
Videos from The Great Courses Collection – each approximately 30 minutes in length with two videos per session. This course describes 36 geological wonders across the globe (plus others), including volcanoes, continental drift, high mountains, broad deltas, caves, sinkholes and other places of interest. As we are locked down and can’t at present travel abroad, come and visit some places we may not be able to visit in the foreseeable future.
TUTOR: Jim has a Masters’ degree in Biology/Ecology and Radiation Biology from Oregon State. He has presented a number of courses at U3APP over the past couple of years, including investigations of the Maya, Aztec, North American First Nations people, Cultures of Pre-Columbian South America, Ancient Egypt and others. He is a member of the U3APP Committee of Management and a member of the COVID-19 Working Group.
