This is a continuing course from Term 4, 2020.

There is still a huge mystery about the origin of life on Earth. Here we delve into the big question of how life originated and developed into the many forms we see today. This question can’t be answered without using the whole gamut of scientific knowledge so evidence is presented via many different disciplines such as geology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, palaeontology and astronomy. The big question may not be answered but many very interesting possibilities will be presented.

REQUIREMENTS: General interest in science.

TUTOR: David is a PhD graduate and research scientist for many years. Major interests include chemistry, plant biochemistry and mass spectrometry. Last position was Senior Research Scientist with Defence Science Technology Organisation at Fishermans Bend.
