This is a course which will provide an elementary knowledge of French that will be useful in helping with an understanding of everyday life in France.
Lessons, presented around themes, will consist of pronunciation, vocabulary
(including numbers, times, dates, etc), grammar (present tense of regular, irregular and reflexive verbs).
All lessons will be conducted in English with interactive French sessions/exercises for the students. Homework will be required to be undertaken by the students.
NOTE: No prior experience of French is required.

TUTOR: Catherine, a French woman who has been living in Australia since 1993, is a fluent English and French speaker, and also has a very good knowledge of Spanish. Although Catherine has no formal teaching qualifications she did study languages at university in France.
In her professional career Catherine performed senior roles as the Executive Assistant to CEOs/MDs and as support to Board members in companies such as l’Oréal, Amcor, Fulton Hogan.
Catherine and her husband visit France most years as her family resides there.
