An exploration of the ideas of some early philosophers, including the presocratics, the stoics, and the neoplatonists, showing their relevance to contemporary ideas in philosophy, science, politics, and art.

REQUIREMENTS: Access to email as Internet resources are recommended in preparation for each class.

TUTOR: Maurita has taught and researched philosophy in Australian and overseas universities. She is an Honorary Senior Fellow at Melbourne University.
