Other information

This course explores the lives and work of some of the world’s most legendary fashion designers. Through a selection of beautiful vintage and contemporary documentaries, we will discover their early lives, creative influences, and the fashion landscapes that shaped their remarkable careers and iconic fashion houses.

We will follow their rise to international fame and examine the collaborations, inspirations, and defining moments that transformed fashion history. From documentary screenings and visits to Melbourne’s major fashion exhibitions, to viewing the latest Fashion Week collections from London, Paris, and New York City, participants will gain insight into the evolution of fashion and the enduring influence of these visionary designers.

Together, we will explore how decades of innovation, craftsmanship, and creativity continue to shape the world of fashion today.

NOTE: Students currently enrolled in 3A15 Love of Fashion and 1A01 Designers of Fashion do not need to re-enrol for this amended course.
