A Yin Yoga class will work on fascia and connective tissue.
This is a relaxing class done on the floor. The class aims to increase flexibility and joint health. It can be meditative and relaxing.
NOTE: The class is suitable for all people with the exception of those with hypermobility. Alternative poses are offered to deal with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
REQUIREMENTS: Students to provide their own yoga mat, yoga block or cushion, water.
TUTOR: Julie completed her yoga training at Power Living, and is also qualified in Yin Yoga. She has completed a Yoga for Seniors course at Duke University in North Carolina which dealt with the medical issues most common for over-65s and the learnings for yoga practice.
