Beginners to Intermediate

A yoga class which will focus on flexibility of the shoulders, upper spine and wrists and building strength in the upper body.

The class will progress over the term.

REQUIREMENTS: Students to provide their own yoga mat, chair for support, yoga block or cushion, water.

Note: NO BOOKINGS AFTER WEEK 3 UNLESS BY CONSULTATION

NOTE: This class will join with another class Julie holds external to U3A.

TUTOR: Julie completed her yoga training at Power Living, and is also qualified in Yin Yoga.

She had recently completed a yoga for seniors course at Duke University in North Carolina which dealt with the medical issues most common for over 65s and the learnings for yoga practice.
