The choir covers a wide variety of music styles, traditional and modern.

We encourage learning music by ear rather than the use of printed music.

The Choir also performs in October and November at the U3A Seniors Week Concert and at the Bay Street Choirs Festival

REQUIREMENTS: Everyone welcome, male and female, experienced or not!

A positive attitude, with an enthusiasm to enjoy singing.

NOTE: No audition necessary. No note reading required.

TUTOR: David is an experienced singer, performer and DJ, who has sung with choirs, organised musical groups, produced shows, and sung in cabaret events in the UK over many years. He has also played music and performed at many weddings, parties, and private fundraising events, and presented regular radio programmes, with the BBC and on local radio.

In Melbourne David has sung as a member of the MSO Chorus and has performed leading roles with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society. He has presented soul music programmes for PBS Radio, and has sung at local venues, including the Paris Cat Jazz Club.

David also sings with the U3A Jazz Group, “Jam Tomorrow”.
