Other information

The choir covers a wide variety of music styles, traditional and modern.
The choir also performs in October U3A Seniors Week Concert and Bay Street Festival.
REQUIREMENTS: A positive commitment to weekly attendance is important. Everyone is welcome, male and female, experienced or not! You just need a positive attitude, with an enthusiasm to participate and enjoy singing.

The ability to follow music may be helpful, but we encourage learning music by ear rather than the use of printed music, so no music note reading is required.
NOTE: No audition necessary.
TUTOR: David is an experienced singer, performer and DJ, who has sung with choirs, organised musical groups, produced shows, and sung in cabaret events in the UK over many years.
He also played music and performed at many weddings, parties, and private fundraising events, and presented regular radio programmes, with the BBC and on local radio.
In Melbourne David has sung as a member of the MSO Chorus and has performed leading roles with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society. He has presented soul music programmes for PBS Radio, and has sung at local venues, including the Paris Cat Jazz Club.

there may be a break of up to three months in the mid-winter period
