Other information

Join our core group of piano, bass and drums for a weekly jazz session. Currently the other players include violin, clarinet, sax, flute, and David Sharples (U3APP Choir, French Singers and Popular Songs) sings with us. The composition of the group varies from week to week.
The group has been playing since April 2018. Under the name “Jam Tomorrow” we performed at U3A during Seniors Week, at CaSPAcare (aged care home), and in local festivals.

REQUIREMENTS: Students must be a musician with own instrument, suitable for jazz. If you are thinking of joining, come along to a session to listen, or bring your instrument and try out with us. We’re pretty flexible.

TUTOR: Helen plays clarinet and coordinates this session when not in Tasmania.

Classes will be cancelled if COVID-19 restrictions do not allow face-to-face classes
