This course will cover:

  • The historical context in British history
  • The development of Colonial constitutions
  • The move to Federation
  • The Constitution itself
  • The way the Constitution provided for Aborigines and the legislation that resulted, eg Mabo

TUTOR: Colin is a former Judge and retired Magistrate. He is a former Northern Territory Patrol Officer and Aboriginal Welfare Officer 1955-1958, and has studied anthropology. He is also a former South Melbourne councillor.
