Tutor/Facilitator Nancy Corbett
Date: on/from Thu 5 Oct 2023 to end year
Class time: 3:00-4:30
Mary Kehoe Centre, Room 1
This course will consist of in-class exercises to get started on your memoir, and to continue with developing its themes and style. Writing a life story is a journey toward self-knowledge. The journey is a highly individual one and there are no set rules; it’s more like a traveller’s guide. But having a guide can be useful, and so is having the company of other travellers
REQUIREMENTS: Pens and a loose-leaf notebook.
TUTOR: Nancy has published novels, poetry, nonfiction and a Memoir (Firsthand: More than Memoir, The People’s Library, 2019). She is currently working on a second section of her own autobiography and is looking forward to sharing this experience with other interested people.
