This course is made up of a series of exercises performed for a certain time with a short break in between each one. This series is repeated one or two more times. The exercises are performed standing or on a mat on the floor. They are for the whole body. The pace of the class is quite fast.

All exercises use body weight so no equipment is required. However, if students wish to use their own equipment they can.

Everyone works to their own capacity so students at all levels of fitness, strength and flexibility can join this class. However, students do need to know what the capacity of their body is.

This class will mostly build strength and fitness but will improve flexibility as well.

NOTE: Students need to be able to get down to the floor and up again multiple times, and be able to understand the instructions and/or be able to copy someone doing the exercises. Students also need to be able to cope with the fast pace of the class.

TUTOR: Lorna is a retired physiotherapist who has provided exercise classes at U3APP for about 7 years. She is mostly able to meet the needs of people who have underlying conditions where the exercises need modification, but at the same time provide a challenging and rewarding exercise experience for all who attend.
