Other information

Kundalini Yoga incorporates Hatha Yoga asanas, as well as specific kyrias (actions) for Kundalini Yoga with specific emphasis on the chakras. This practice will include pranayama (breath work), meditation and some mantra/chants (will be included from time to time).

This class is structured for 90 minutes to allow sufficient time for savasana, warm-up, pranayama and meditation towards the end of the class. While asanas will occupy the majority of time, there will be time to focus on alignments for different poses.

NOTE: This class is NOT suitable for beginners.

REQUIREMENTS: Kundalini Yoga and/or Hatha Yoga experience. This practice is aimed at students who wish to further their current yoga practice to a more intermediate level. Suitable for students with a reasonable level of fitness and flexibility who are looking for a more progressive practice.

Students will need their yoga mat and a block or yoga cushion for sitting (if required).
