Other information

Inexpensive and relatively easy to play, the ukulele is an instrument that’s perfect for communal music-making. Students will need to have some experience in ukulele or guitar to participate confidently in this group. Some singing is involved, but you don’t need to be a great singer to join this group. This is a multi-level group where more experienced members will be encouraged to share their skills and suggestions with the group. New students will be emailed a questionnaire regarding past musical experience.
REQUIREMENTS: Ukulele, tuning app (on phone) or clip-on tuner (tutor can advise during first session), music stand, pencil, eraser, folder.
TUTOR: Minuk is an experienced teacher and a keen amateur chamber musician. Having been classically trained on the violin, Minuk more recently discovered the joys of playing ukulele and is keen to encourage community music-making using this delightful instrument.
