Other information

Inexpensive and relatively easy to play, the ukulele is perfect for communal music-making. This group is open to beginners only and classes will focus on attaining physical ease at playing basic chords and strums to accompany songs. Some singing is involved, but you don’t need to be a great singer to join this group.
If you have had some experience with ukulele or guitar, the Ukulele Intermediate group may be a more suitable group for you. Please contact Minuk on [email protected] if you have any queries.
REQUIREMENTS: Ukulele, tuning app (on phone) or clip-on tuner (tutor can advise during first session), music stand, pencil, eraser, folder.
TUTOR: Minuk is an experienced teacher and a keen amateur chamber musician. Having been classically trained on the violin, Minuk more recently discovered the joys of playing ukulele and is keen to encourage community music-making using this delightful instrument.
