Other information

If you have ever wanted to know what all the squiggles, dots, lines, numbers and odd figures on a piece of written music mean, this is the course for you. We shall investigate how rhythm, tempo, pitch, and other musical features are represented on paper, and learn how to read note names.
This is a course for those with little or no experience in reading music and will be especially useful for choir members who cannot read music and would like to know how.

REQUIREMENTS: Music manuscript paper, useful but not essential.

TUTOR: Rosemary has been learning music since the age of five and has varying degrees of proficiency in piano, violin, guitar, flute, cello and singing. She also has 15 years of piano teaching experience and a burning desire to share the joys of music-making with anyone who is interested.
