Nadine’s intention is to present a particular region of France and its specific dishes. One or two recipes will illustrate each region and the participants will be encouraged to try each recipe at home. It will be part of the class dynamics to discuss how they succeeded (or not) in making a particular dish.

NOTE: A fair understanding of simple French is required. Would not suit people with no previous knowledge of the language, but it will not involve in-depth grammar knowledge. Lessons will be conducted mostly in English but all recipes will be in French and will be explored together in class for understanding and ability to prepare it at home.

TUTOR: Nadine has been a secondary school French Teacher for 20 years. Originally from Belgium, her native tongue is French. She studied French here at Monash University and obtained an MA in French literature. Currently Nadine still works as a freelance accredited NAATI translator in French and English.
