A series of 8 lecture-discussions which examine changing conceptions of what it means to be human, from the rise of humanistic philosophies during the Enlightenment through to contemporary posthumanist critiques of the underlying assumptions relating to issues of race, gender, nature, and technology.

TUTOR: Maurita is Honorary Senior Fellow in Philosophy at Melbourne University, and has taught and researched philosophy at a number of universities.
