In conjunction with Raw Satya we have designed 5 day program to get you into the spirit of spring with some walks, some yoga and a great salad challenge.

Participants will also be offered a deal at Masque Day Spa in Victoria Avenue for a massage or facial, at a time of their choosing.

Cost

$35 per person

If you book for this course, your booking will be provisional until you make your payment at the U3APP Office.
Please bring the exact money in an envelope with your name, email address and phone number written on the envelope.
Payment must be made before 3:30pm on Friday 20 September to confirm your booking.
There will be no refunds for cancellations after this date.

Coffees on the walks or rides and the lunch at Ceres Community Garden are optional, at your own expense.

Daily timetable: Yoga, Walk/Ride, Yin Yoga, Salad Challenge Lunch

Each day at 9.30 we start with a one hour yoga class at the Mary Kehoe Centre, aimed at strength and balance (optional if you don’t feel able to participate).
At 10:30 we leave for a walk or bike ride (maybe a tea or coffee en route).
We return at 12 noon for a relaxing yin yoga class (everyone can do yin), targeting stretching and flexibility.
The Salad Challenge lunch commences at 1pm and continues until 2:30pm.
For a change mid-week, the Wednesday activities are a longer walk or ride along the Merri Creek, followed by lunch at the Ceres Community Garden.

The Salad Challenge

A Salad Challenge has been run by Naturopath Rosemarie Walmsley from Raw Satya (rawsatya.com.au) for the past 4 years. We will prepare 7 salads over the course of the week, learn about the nutritional benefits of the featured ingredients, and eat each creation as a group. Rosemarie is incredibly passionate about using food as medicine and we are lucky to have her joining us on Tuesday at 1pm.

Designed for all levels of fitness

Whether you regularly exercise, or figure you have to start somewhere, this program can accommodate you. Julie Smith will lead the yoga classes and tailor the class to individual capabilities. However, you need to commit to the full program if you want to make a difference.
