Report on Monday Talk – Falls

On Monday 16th May 2016, Rhonda Hill, U3APP tutor in Strength Training, presented a talk on falls prevention in front of a receptive audience. She is a volunteer speaker from Bentleigh Bayside Community Health on behalf of the Peer Education Program which was developed by Inner South Partnership in Community & Health & Kingston Bayside Primary Care. The main aim of the program is to increase awareness of the major risk factors involved in a fall and introduce strategies to help prevent a fall and to maintain your independence and quality of life for as long as possible.
